This week, I've been diving into the world of databases, specifically comparing relational databases with document store non-relational databases. My focus has been on how these options can benefit new startups. Here's a quick rundown of my findings:

Relational Databases vs. Document Store Databases: Each has its pros and cons, but for startups, flexibility and scalability are key and in my view relational databases are a little bit worse on this front.

Soup Base vs. MongoDB: While Soupbase offers easy startup and scalability along with a free tier, MongoDB stands out with its ability to change documents on the fly without the need for downtime for schema changes.

Couchbase: Another NoSQL option, but MongoDB seems to be the frontrunner for now.

In conclusion, NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, appear to be the best fit for the projects I'm considering. More research is needed, but the initial findings are promising. Stay tuned for more updates!

I wanted to share some recent thoughts and experiences I've had while exploring the world of life and business coaching. Over the past few weeks, I've had a few warm-up calls with different coaches, both in life and business domains.

One thing that stood out to me is how varied their approaches are. Each coach seems to have their own unique techniques and methods. Initially, I thought choosing a coach would be straightforward—just compare their rates, hours, and experience. However, I quickly realised there's much more to it.

The rapport you build with a coach is crucial. It's about how comfortable you feel sharing personal details and how well you connect with them. Their ability to make you feel at ease and understood plays a significant role in achieving the results you want.

So, if you're considering a coach, remember to look beyond just their credentials and fees. Pay attention to how you feel during your interactions with them. That connection might just be the key to your success.
